A California origin company NDB( Nano Diamond Battery) innovated a self- charging battery by trapping carbon-14 in an artificial diamond case. The company claims the battery to run for 28,000 years by a single charge.

According to NBD, this battery can be used as a great substitute instead of non-renewable natural resources in industrial and economic sector. The US- based company says that the battery has various applications in commercial sectors like in electric vehicles, cameras, health devices, mobile phones etc. NDB claims it to be totally safe to use. HOW THE BATTERY WORKS?

You all must be in a dilemma about how this battery is so efficient? (me too!!!) So, the answer to this question is nuclear wastes. The radioactive wastes generated as by- products of nuclear plants all around the world are used for this battery. The C-14 along with radioactive wastes are very difficult to dispose of. CHANDRAYAAN-3: Back to the moon

CHANDRAYAAN-3 will be India’s second journey to the moon. Last year India launched Chandrayaan-2 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. But failed to land its rover on the moon. It was told that Chandrayaan-3 will be put set in motion at the end of 2020. As we are dealing with this huge pandemic Covid-19, the project is put on halt on temporary basis. Chandrayaan-3 is India’s desirous mission to complete the nation’s first lunar mission. During the India’s second lunar mission, the moon lander Vikram was crashed into the lunar surface. It was apparently due to its breaking rockets. Indian Space Research Organization ( ISRO ) has announced the launching of another lunar mission at the beginning of 2020.

Chandrayaan-3 is a planned third lunar exploration mission by Indian Space Research Organization like Chandrayaan-2. The latest lunar mission will cost about 6.15 billion or $ 91.2 million at current exchange rate making this project comparatively less expensive than Chandrayaan-2, which costed 9.7 billion or $ 136.1 million. The organization is planning to land its lander at the same position as the crash site of Chandrayaan-2.

The world is into the struggle of fighting coronavirus pandemic for about more than six months and yet we have got nothing in our hands. The age groups which are mostly affected by suicides are lying between 15-29 years. If the conditions seem awful don’t leave them alone as they might ended up hurting themselves. Take steps to get them away from dangerous things like knives, pills, heights etc
